We remember Homa and Tajala Zaher.
2 years ago, on 29.02.2020, the 38-year-old mother Homa Zaher and her 9-year-old daughter Tajala Zaher were murdered in their apartment in Marzahn. The cruel femicides of the two migrants shook their family, friends and many activists in solidarity in Berlin.
The trial, which has been ongoing since September 2020, still leaves countless unanswered questions. Despite the lack of clarification, the court is now trying to conclude the trial.
The desire of both women from Afghanistan to lead a new and safe life in Germany was destroyed in the most brutal way. Our demand for the case to be enquired beyond doubt, is still far from being fulfilled.
Homa and Tajala! Together we mourn and commemorate.
Truth and justice! Together we demand and fight.
We will not forget and we will not forgive.
